Lanie McCarry is an artist experienced in freelance illustration and portrait work. She graduated with honors from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2012 with BA in Illustration. She is a Michigander living in Southeast Alaska. 

A lover of all the arts, Lanie is currently involved in a local dance company. She loves to knit, hike, and watch movies. All of which have influenced her work and define who she is.

Lanie is married and you may see her name written as 'Lanie Barsy' at times.
